this band is tight and perfect and Mark nails the vocals. What a unique voice his was/is. Fantastic!
Perfect
We miss Dark Mark.
Gracias .
Very Edge-like guitar delay and synth combo. Beautiful. Considering what a prolific artist Lanegan was, it’s amazing how consistently high-quality his music was. It’s no accident that great musicians wanted to work with him. Sadly, we won’t see his kind again soon.
One of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard.
Oh sisters of mercy....
Great song, great band . That's all You need to know!
I love this song, thanks Mark, how you are missed!
Pretty epic and beautiful example of what surviving through a lot of pain can turn into
Agree🌹
So nicely filmed!
What a voice and an artist we lost...
Muito bom . Saudades ❤
Mark, Ti ho conosciuto troppo tardi Questo è il mio peccato. Sei andato via Ma la tua musica ci benedirá sempre ascoltandola. Ciao King!🫶
you won't here this on any commercial radio station.
No you won't. miss mark dearly
That’s pure from the heart…. Well done guys ❤
These notes, this song arrangement, his voice all the combination makes sadness feels sweet and comforting. The fact that he passed away just makes everything more bitter. I was lucky enough to admire him live and even had a couple of words after show, that happened in 2020. I will never forget those kind sad eyes. Thank you.
Genius

I moved from NYC and now I work at Harborview.About to finish my shift.
What? I used to live on St Marks Place on the Lower East Side though I was born and raised here in Seattle. I live in The Rise on Madison and Boylston ...Three minutes from Harborview.
@kevinkiso4579 I'm in the basement level right now at work lol.

I alway feel sad when I listen to you sing this song. I love you so much, and I still sing your songs every day, Shiloh Town is my fav these days. Sometimes is "Shadows of the Seasons", "More or Less", in a few minutes "Nearly Lost You" will play to remember me to take my medicine. Love you, Mark, love you forever.

You are NO SAD DISGRACE TO ME! LOVE SOMEONE VERY SPECIAL TO YOU! Å certain son.
Unique music business personality who wrote a candid and compelling autobiography. I'm not a fan of his music but this song is deffo an exception - top quality writing and performance.

Never been there Mark. Love you sir.

i'm sitting in my apartment about a seven-minute walk from Harborview Medical Center right now. Mark's apt. was on the SE corner of Jefferson Street and Terry Ave., when he was living here in Seattle... I've been clean from a thirty-year life crushing heroin addiction for several years now. Has my sobriety been flawless? No. It will always be a challenge. At the age fifty-four, two years ago, that desire to be/remain in a state bordering on near obliteration, semi-controlled obliteration, evaporated from within me. I grew up in some tremendous ways. Life is good. Rest In Peace, Mark.🌹

This all makes me wonder if part of your recovery involved writing. It sounds like it has, keep it up - all of it, and thanks for sharing.
Personne n'a parlé de son décès...rien dans les médias ! RIP Mark
Mais si ...pas beaucoup en France mais ailleurs on a rendu hommage à ce formidable artiste et bonhomme. Et il nous reste ces images et son oeuvre flamboyante
unbelievable song one of the coolest characters that lived lucky to see him on that tour his music lives on legend!
When you look at Mark singing you wonder what he’s thinking between verses. Lots of pain etched on that epic face. RIP, man. We miss the shit out of you.
I wish I had no idea of what he is thinking unfortunately I am almost certain that I know much to well.
Was just thinking the same thing.
Hard to believe I'll never see or hear him again... ❤
My thoughts exactly 💯 so sad🌹RIP 🌹
@@GertTown , where am I gonna score some brown after the gig?
Mark now lives in that tower of song now, with the other greats.
LYRICS! 🎵😚 “I walked by harborview hospital I heard the agnus dei Oh sister of mercy I’ve been gone too long to say And all around this place I was a sad disgrace They’re singing, they’re singing Away up on the hill They’re building, they’re building A mystical union, beautiful and still But down here in the dirt they’ll say it doesn’t hurt The devil’s ascended Upon some crystal wings In the citadel lightning Splits a cloud of butterflies and fiends And with a vacant stare I’ll leave a flower there They’re riding, they’re riding A hellhound down the hill They’re sinking, they’re sinking Into the ocean, beautiful and still And yet it’s hard to leave in wealth or poverty I walked by harborview hospital And stopped at ninth and James Oh sister of mercy I’ve been down too far to say Are they supposed to be as sick as you and me?” You’re welcome! 👍
Thanks mate.
Thanks
A veces canto bajo tu lluvia está canción de muerte. Largos tus cabellos de defunción
Does the pain ever go away...
